In 1994, the idea was created for "Friends": a show about six friends in New York as they navigate their way… More through life and learn to grow up as they approach the third decade of their life. All, with the help from each other to get them through the obstacles that life naturally has for us. Monica is the excessively neat and organized "older sister" of the group, who works as a chef while yearning to find her ideal love. Ross, Monica's older brother, is a paleontologist with a lifelong crush on Rachel. He is a laid-back man with low self esteem and a recent divorcee. Rachel is the pretty, bubbly girl who spent most of her life as a spoiled rich princess. Now she must learn to face the real world. Chandler is Ross' college buddy and the guy who will crack jokes at a moment's notice. Phoebe is a lovable eccentric masseuse who easily could have fit in with Haight Ashbury in the 1960s. And Joey, the friend who has an inverse relationship between his good looks and his intelligence. He dreams of becoming an actor. These six individuals make up the cast of Friends.
In May 2004, Friends officially ended it's phenomenal 10 year run. The show's time slot was taken over by a spin-off called Joey.

Season three

Season three takes on a significantly greater serialized format. Rachel begins working at Bloomingdale's, an upscale department store chain, and Ross becomes jealous of her colleague, Mark. Rachel decides to take a break; and Ross, hurt and drunk, sleeps with someone else, causing Rachel to break up with him. After believing she has no family except her twin sister Ursula (Lisa Kudrow), Phoebe becomes acquainted with her half-brother (Giovani Ribisi) and birth mother (Teri Garr). Joey develops a relationship with his acting partner Kate (Dina Meyer), and Monica begins a relationship with millionaire Pete Becker (Jon Favreau).

Season two

The second season begins with Rachel discovering that Ross is dating Julie (Lauren Tom), someone he knew from grad school. Rachel's attempts to tell Ross she likes him mirror his failed attempts in the first season, although the characters eventually begin a relationship. Joey gets a part in a fictional version of the soap opera Days of our Lives, but his character is killed off after he claims that he writes many of his own lines. Monica begins dating Richard (Tom Selleck), recently divorced and 21 years her senior. In the season finale, they end their relationship when they realize that unlike Monica, Richard does not want children.

Season one

The first season introduces the six main characters: Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross. Rachel arrives at Central Perk after leaving her fiancé Barry at the altar and moves into Monica's apartment with her. Ross constantly tries to tell Rachel that he loves her, while his lesbian ex-wife, Carol, is expecting his baby. Joey is shown to be a struggling actor, while Phoebe works as a masseuse. Chandler breaks up with girlfriend Janice (Maggie Wheeler), who frequently returns in later seasons. At the end of the season, Chandler accidentally reveals that Ross loves Rachel, who realizes that she feels the same way.

Justice League - Crisis on Two Earths (2010)

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is an original direct-to-video animated film released on February 23, 2010. It is based on the abandoned direct to video feature, Justice League: Worlds Collide, which was intended as a bridge between the then-concluding Justice League animated television series and its then forthcoming sequel series Justice League Unlimited. The movie project was shelved because of insufficient staff to produce the movie and the TV show simultaneously.
The movie begins in a alternate universe where Lex Luthor and a heroic analogue to The Joker named The Jester are securing a piece of technology at a secret lair of the Crime Syndicate, an evil version of the Justice League. After securing the unknown device, Luthor and The Jester attempt to escape, only to have the Jester sacrifice himself while killing J'edd J'arkus (a Martian Manhunter analogue), and Angelique (a Hawkgirl analogue). Lex Luthor is then confronted by the Syndicate, only to escape to the Earth of the heroic Justice League.
Once there, he ends up having a run-in with the police. The Justice League is called in and confronts the heroic Lex Luthor (who had to be strip-searched). Upon Superman's x-ray vision confirming that this Lex Luthor is from another Earth and that the Lex Luthor that he knows is still at Stryker's Island, the Justice League agree to hear Lex out. After telling the Justice League his story on the Watchtower, Lex recruits the League to help save his Earth from the Syndicate, who have taken control of all crime on Earth and systematically eliminated Luthor's League one by one. After a passionate debate, the Justice League decides to help Luthor despite their mistrust and misgivings. Batman stays behind arguing the League is spread too thin to solve the problems of their own world, let alone Luthor's. Luthor transports the remaining members of the League to his universe, while Batman stays behind to finish rebuilding the Watchtower.
The League encounters a parallel world where Slade Wilson is President of the United States. The world is being extorted by the Crime Syndicate, and the only thing holding the Syndicate in check is the threat of nuclear retaliation by the nations of the world against their base on the Moon.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is an original direct-to-video animated film adaptation of "Public Enemies" -- the opening story arc of DC Comics' Superman/Batman -- which focuses on Superman and Batman teaming up to prevent a meteoroid from striking Earth and take down Lex Luthor, who has been elected President of the United States.
Superman and Batman: bad guys? What madness is this? Well in a world where Lex Luthor is President, anything’s possible. That’s the background premise of “Superman/Batman: Public Enemies”, the most recent D.C. direct-to-DVD movie starring their two biggest icons.
If you’ve seen D.C.’s recent spate of DVD movies, you probably won’t be surprised that “Public Enemies” has no interest in regurgitating the origins of its characters. The filmmakers assume you already know who Superman and Batman are, and it’s a justifiable assumption: there seems little chance of Joe Blow Non-Comic Book Reader picking up the DVD. As a result, the film jumps right into its storyline: Luthor is President, and has all but outlawed superheroes except those working for the U.S. Government, i.e. him. Superman and Batman remain the lone hero holdouts. The front and center storylines of “Public Enemies” has a giant meteorite composed of Kryptonite headed right for Earth, and Superman being framed for murder by Luthor.

Superman: Doomsday (2007)

Superman: Doomsday is a 2007 American direct-to-video animated film adaptation of the popular DC Comics storyline The Death of Superman focusing on the supposed death of the superhero Superman.
Superman Doomsday is based on the best-selling graphic novel of all time, The Death of Superman. In that tale, Superman battled the evil Doomsday and lost. In the film, we meet Superman, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor before the Man of Steel becomes all too human at the hands of Doomsday. After about 20 minutes of set-up and a few clear nods to the attempt at a more adult tone, the fateful day comes for Metropolis. It's after Superman dies that Doomsday gets real interesting. People take fewer chances knowing that their hero isn't around to save them. Villains get more daring. Even Lex feels the void of not having a hero to battle. When Superman seems to return to the scene, everyone breathes a sigh of relief, until they realize that the perfect hero has come back a little different and a lot more dangerous.
It's a great story and one that the creators of Superman Doomsday have clearly put all of their hearts and minds behind. There are no corners cut on this project and it feels more artistically complete than a lot of straight-to-DVD animated adventures, far too many of which feel made just for profit. The voice talent in particular is spectacular with Baldwin perfectly capturing everyone's favorite hero and Marsters nailing Lex. Even Heche does great work as Lois. It's only in the cheesy dialogue department where Doomsday kind of falls flat. The storytelling and the voice work is stable enough that the old-fashioned dialogue was unnecessary, but it is what occasionally holds the entire project back from ultimate greatness.

Aflat intr-o vacanta cu Lois Lane la Polul Nord, in Fortareata Solitudinii, Superman raspunde la acest apel disperat al umanitatii care se afla fata in fata cu extinctia. In urma unei lupte aprigi, Doomsday este distrus, iar Superman cade victima acestei batalii. Dupa inmormantarea acestui mare erou, Superman pare ca este inca viata. Numai ca metodele lui nu seamana deloc cu cele ale "fostului" Superman. El este arogant, increzator in puterile sale si nu respecta deloc autoritatea si legea. Joker and Penguin have escaped from Arkham Asylum, and Batman is summoned to round them up. Unfortunately for the Joker, he appears to have been electrocuted when, in order to escape Batman, he jumps into a river with his palm shocker still activated. Penguin, however, makes it to the Gotham City Cemetery where an inmate has told him some loot is buried in a certain tomb. In searching for the tomb, Penguin inadvertently awakens Dracula when he spills blood on Drac's corpse. After feeding on the cemetery guard, Dracula turns Penguin into his renfield. A cloud of fear descends over Gotham City as people begin to go missing.
At the same time that Dracula is planning to turn Gotham City into the City of the Undead, Bruce Wayne is planning the Wayne Industries Energy Expo to be held tomorrow evening at Wayne Manor. During an interview with Gotham City News reporter Vicky Vale, he invites Vicky (who appears to be developing a thing for Bruce) to be his date. That night on his watch over the city, Batman sees the cemetery guard attack a woman after knocking out a hoodlum who was trying to steal her purse. When Batman jumps in to help the woman, all three of them -- the guard, the hoodlum, and the woman -- turn on Batman, all of them now vampires. Batman escapes by jumping on the top of a passing El train.

Caesar has had enough when another legion is hacked to pieces by the damned single indomitable village in Gaul because of the druid's magic potion, so he decides to tackle the problem at the root before conspiratorial senators exploit his humiliation: sycophant Lucullus is ordered to capture the druid (believed immortal) and push him over the edge of the earth (according to the story still believed to be flat as a pizza; actually Greeks and Romans knew better). By pure luck, Lucullus' first net traps both druid and Obelix's pet dog, so the giant and Asterix follow them by ship on the Atlantic, and crash after a storm on the North America coast in pursuit of the druid who was catapulted off the Roman galley before Lucullus triumphantly sets sails back for Europe. They find the druid and meet a tribe of Indians (believing to be in India), literally a whole New World for the equally primitive Celts. At the home front, Caesar sees his chance to overrun the village, but has to wait till the last magic potion has run out, hoping the heroes won't return. In America, the medicine man has a bad eye in the foreigners, especially when the druid proves a dangerous rival...

Asterix and the Big Fight is a 1989 animated movie directed by Philippe Grimond and produced in France by Yannick Piel as Astérix et le coup du menhir. It is based on the Asterix comic book series. The movie has a different plot from the book of the same name. It combines plot elements from Asterix and the Big Fight and Asterix and the Soothsayer. Interestingly, although there is plenty of fighting — as usual for an Asterix story — the actual fight that the story is named for is not part of the movie's plot.
The Romans have once again been humiliated by the Gauls. Felonius Caucus, right hand man of Centurion Nebulus Nimbus, head of the fortified camp of Totorum, suggests a Big Fight. This is a Gallic tradition where two Gallic chiefs fight and the winner becomes leader of both tribes.
To fight Vitalstatistix, chief of Asterix’s tribe, the Romans enlist a Gallo-Roman collaborator, Chief Cassius Ceramix of Linoleum. Vitalstatistix would surely win with Getafix’ magic potion of invincibility, but the Romans plan to capture the druid long beforehand. In an effort to rescue him, Obelix accidentally puts Getafix out of action with a menhir, the impact of which causes amnesia and insanity.

The diminutive Asterix and his rather larger companion Obelix, warriors of the last village in Gaul still free after the Roman invasion, set out on a mission to deliver a barrel of their druid's famous magic potion to help Asterix's cousin in Britain fight off the invading Roman army.
Having conquered (nearly) all of Gaul, Julius Caeser turns his attention to Britain. Noticing that British warriors stop fighting at 5 O'clock to drink boiled water, and on weekends, Caeser cleverly orders his troops to attack only at 5 PM on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Britain is soon under Roman occupation except for one small village, where Asterix's British cousin lives. Word gets to Gaul, and Asterix and company set off across the Channel with their famous strength-giving magic potion to try to help turn back the Romans.

After another raid in an empty village, the chief of the Vikings Timandahaf misunderstands the explanation of his druid Cryptograf that "fear gives wings to the dwellers" and believes that fear actually makes the villagers fly. They decide to chase the champion of fear in Gaul to learn how to fly and make them invincible warriors. Meanwhile, the nephew of Vitalstatistix, Justforkix, is sent from Parisium to the Gaulish village to become a man and Asterix and Obelix are assigned to train the youngster. The stupid son of Cryptograf, Olaf, listens to a conversation of the coward Justforkix with Asterix and Obelix and kidnaps him. While returning to the Viking village, Justforkix meets Abba, the daughter of Timandahaf, and they fall in love for each other. But the Machiavellian and ambitious Cryptograf plan to marry his son Olaf with Abba and become powerful. In the end, Asterix realizes that it is not fear that gives wings, it is love.

After a group of legionaries is once again beaten up by the gauls, they imagine: "With such huge strength, they can't be human... they must be gods". Julius Caesar is informed, and laughs. He makes a decision with his council and goes to Armorica, to speak with Vitalstatistix. He gives the Gauls a series of 12 tasks, inspired by Hercules (but new ones, since the 12 Labours are outdated). Vitalstatistix assembles their best warriors, Asterix and Obelix, to do the job. The Roman Caius Tiddlus is sent along with them to guide them and check they complete each task.
